As i follow this rule, i see that it works cause this hot chick im banging is constantly fishing for compliments while guys all around her do nothing but compliment her when she is out at bars or clubs. she is always working on her appearance (clothes,hair and makeup changes) to get me to compliment on these changes.

For starters, what were you even doing in a relationship? Let's look at the bright side: that was stupid to begin with, and you got off scot free without having to pay alimony or child support.
